The Asian Development Bank (ADB) joined ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. (AFI) and the Manila Water Company in rehabilitating the Pasig River by giving a $50,000 grant for an information, education and communication campaign in support of Manila Water’s drive to set up sewerage treatment plants in Metro Manila. Videos will also be produced showcasing the state of the Pasig River and how people can help in its rehabilitation. “…To recognize that we must keep the river clean, there needs to be a shift in consciousness. So ADB is funding our effort at consciousness raising,” said AFI managing director Gina Lopez.
