TV host Willie Revillame hopes to be able to help others who are in need of jobs through his new baby, Wil Theater Mall.

The construction of the multimillion-peso complex on Eugenio Lopez Drive will be finished in 12 to 16 months. It will house two multipurpose studios, a mall, a theater, and a number of commercial spaces. A basketball court, gym and spa will be located on the mall’s rooftop.

Director Johnny Manahan serves as Wil Theater Mall consultant, with Jonathan Gan as architect and Jose Aliling as project manager.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Wil Theater Mall was attended by ABS-CBN Corp. president Charo Santos-Concio, Channel 2 head Cory Vidanes, “Wowowee” production head Linggit Tan, corporate communications head Bong Osorio, director Bobot Mortiz, Wil’s manager Arlene de Castro and “Wowowee” cohosts and staff.
