First Gen tops bowling tourney
bowlingFIRST Gen Corporation became champion of the 2nd Lopez Lifelong Wellness (LLW) bowling tournament with 58 points after winning all games against the Lopez Inc./Benpres team on the last day. Rockwell Land Corporation, the first runnerup, fought off a determined challenge from ABSCBN Corporation, the second runner-up.

With 42 points in the penultimate round, ABS-CBN had a chance to contest the second spot if it earned eight points by winning all its games against Rockwell. The latter avoided a shutout and earned two points to total 52 while ABS-CBN gained six points to reach 48.

The following won in the individual awards competition: James Mendoza of First Philippine Industrial Corporation (FPIC), high average-male with 181 pinfalls; Rowena Clemente of Energy Development Corporation, high average-female with 187 pinfalls; Hyatt Basman of First Gen, high series-male with 616 pinfalls; Ethy Tan of FPIC, high series-female with 606 pinfalls; Ferdie Cazcarro of Rockwell, high single-male with 254 pinfalls; and Celeste Consibido of First Philippine Holdings Corporation, high single-female with 202 pinfalls.
