| On April 27, one of the galleries of the Lopez Museum and Library was turned into a concert venue where over 100 guests braved the afternoon heat to indulge in classical music, contemporary art and literature.
Celebrating the birth month of Levi Celerio, National Artist for Music and Literature, the event was organized in partnership with the nonprofit small press High Chair and the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth (OFY).

| One of Grounded’s invited contemporary artists, Alma Quinto, conducted the workshop “Dis/ Grasya:” Transforming Narratives of Pain and Struggle into Power at the Lopez Museum on April 27.
The whole day workshop was designed to help participants explore how traumatic experiences and daily struggles can be transformed into learning experiences. Quinto guided the teachers as to possible materials and activities that they can do in their classrooms, and tapped into their emotions as their primary tool to create simple yet powerful narratives.

| On May 4, 11, 18 and 25, and June 1, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Lopez Museum and Library will hold a five day travel writing and photography workshop designed for young adults and young professionals who want to explore the world and tell people about their experience.
“Where I Go” will include an orientation about travel writing, writing exercises, photography sessions, consultations and presentations of the participants’ projects.
