DZMM TLC San Jose del Monte BulacanNothing can stop DZMM in serving our Kapamilyas nationwide as its Teaching Learning Caring activity hit Paradise Farms Community School in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan last Friday.
Joined by TLC Volunteer doctors and nurses, DZMM provided medical assistance to almost 400 Bulaceños in which 298 of them were children. On the other hand, free dental extraction was given to 76 Kapamilyas while 55 patients got free dermatological consultation.
Our volunteers also gave 150 free reading glasses to those whose age are 40 and above.
Excitement filled the place as the students welcomed Ms. Bernadette Sembrano who inspired them by reading the “Alamat ng Paru-paro” and “Alamat ng Guyabano”.
DZMM TLC Paradise Farms Community School Write-UpBut the TLC activity doesn’t stop there. Bantay Bata volunteers gave lectures about parenting and Radyo Negosyo held a livelihood seminar where they thought how to make siomai and candle out of tight budget.
An estimated 1, 500 Kapamilyas joined this event with the help of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Bantay Bata, FMM, Ideal Vision Center, Prime SkinCare Asia@ABS-CBN, Radyo Negosyo and barangay officials of Kaybanban, SJDM, Bulacan.
The next stop of TLC will be at Miraculous Medal Shrine, Sucat, Parañaque this Sunday, September 21, 2014.
