Earth Jam 2015On April 14, the U.S. Embassy in Manila will join forces with ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc. (ALKFI), to hold #EarthJam, a clean-up event at Estero Pandacan followed by a FREE concert.

The concert features former Guns ‘N Roses guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, joined by The Voice Philippines 2015 champion Mitoy, Pilipinas Got Talent winner Jovit Baldivino, and Pinoy rock legend Razorback.

Earth Jam is the first joint project of the U.S. Embassy Manila and ALKFI, to mobilize local communities to mitigate the impact of natural disasters and increase resilience to global climate change. This event is for FREE. Food and equipment for cleaning will be provided. To volunteer, click here.

The event will take place at Barangay 841, Estero de Pandacan, Manila with U.S. Ambassador Philip S. Goldberg, ABS CBN Foundation, Inc. chairman Gina Lopez, and Manila vice mayor Isko Moreno.

Volunteers should be in the venue at 2PM as clean-up wills tart at 3PM. The program is expected to end at 7PM. Volunteers will include members of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), local high school students and “River Warriors” from Kapit Bisig para sa Ilog Pasig.
