“Tulong-Tulong sa PagAhon” is an umbrella campaign launched by ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. (AFI) and Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. aimed at helping families and students recover or start afresh. Here’s how you can help.

Three successive typhoons have wreaked havoc on the lives of thousands of Filipinos lying in their paths. The education sector has taken a beating with the destruction of several schools and the loss of massive amounts of learning materials worth millions of pesos. But learning must continue, now more than ever.

“Tulong-Tulong sa PagAhon Para sa Edukasyon” aims to assist selected schools located in the Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Rizal which suffered the most from the onslaught of typhoon Ulysses in terms of threats to the continuance of education.

The project’s direct beneficiaries are students enrolled in public elementary schools in San Mateo, Rodriguez and upland Tanay who lost their school supplies due to the floods.

By Dec. 31, 2020, Knowledge Channel aims to have raised P3 million from the public through Knowledge Channel platforms for the purchase of 3,000 learners’ kits for distribution to learner victims of Ulysses in Rizal province.

With the donated funds, learning materials will be purchased and packed into individual learners’ kits by Knowledge Channel employee volunteers. Each learners’ kit includes notebooks, pad paper, glue stick, crayons, brown envelopes, colored paper, folders, ruler, ballpens, scissors, umbrella, backpack and clear plastic envelope.

AFI’s Tulong e-Christmas cards can be given as virtual gifts while the donation made will benefit families affected by typhoons Quinta, Rolly, Siony, Tonyo and Ulysses.

To get one on Lazada, simply make a donation through the ABS-CBN Foundation: “Tulong-Tulong sa Pag-Ahon” P200 donation voucher in the AFI flagship store. Once the donation is validated, the donor will receive a Tulong e-Christmas card through the app.

The digital greeting card is also available on the livestreaming app Kumu. Just watch one of the partner livestream shows, click on carousel, choose the “Tulong-Tulong sa Pag-Ahon” P200 donation voucher and complete the transaction. A confirmation email will be sent with the Tulong e-Christmas card as attachment.

The Tulong e-Christmas cards project is part of AFI’s “Tulong-Tulong sa Pag-Ahon” public service campaign that was launched in November. It aims to raise funds for the ongoing relief operations of Sagip Kapamilya in areas devastated by the recent typhoons.
