First Gen Corporation’s corporate social responsibility group collaborated with First Philippine Holdings Corporation’s human resources management group, through Wellness Wednesdays, for “Lobo Interactive Adventure: An Earth Day Special.”
The virtual event aimed to debut and introduce the online adventure platform jointly developed by First Gen and MAD Travel while inculcating a systems-thinking approach in dealing with community issues.
The platform features Lobo, Batangas, a part of the Verde Island Passage, known as the “center of center of marine biodiversity” where First Gen and other Lopez Group organizations such as ABS-CBN Foundation Inc., First Balfour, Energy Development Corporation, Oscar M. Lopez Center, Sikat Solar Challenge Foundation Inc. and Lopez Group Foundation Inc. have ridge-toreef initiatives.
Sixty attendees from various Lopez Group companies and foundations had the opportunity to explore different locations in Lobo and learn more about the protection and conservation activities in the area. Attendees actively participated in navigating the platform by casting their choices through a Zoom poll; through a quiz, they were able to obtain the three keys to sustainability in the latter part of the platform.
