As more users stream iWant’s lineup of originals, the streaming service is venturing into different genres with its star-studded original movies, series and documentaries as revealed at ABS-CBN's #ForeverKapamilya trade event recently.
Comedy series “Call Me Tita,” which drops this August, showcases Agot Isidro, Angelica Panganiban, Cherry Pie Picache, Joanna Ampil and Mylene Dizon, who lit up the stage with a performance of ABBA’s “Dancing Queen.” The series revolves around the lives of five middleaged women as they search for new experiences, purpose and acceptance.
The trade event also showed a teaser of “Kadenang Ginto” costars Beauty Gonzalez and Seth Fedelin’s horror series “Abandoned.” Beauty plays a security guard who is plagued by evil spirits, which she unintentionally brings home.
“Bagman” also gets a second season, this time with Carlo Aquino diving into the web of politics and corruption.
Adding to iWant’s wide range of content is Derek Ramsay and Jessy Mendiola’s team-up in the actiondrama film “Mga Mata sa Dilim,” while Elisse Joson headlines “You Have Arrived."
Aside from these, iWant unveiled a twisted family drama with Rio Locsin and Markus Paterson called “Kargo,” the Iza Calzado starrer “Loving Emily,” a more mature Zaijian Jaranilla in “Story of My Life” and an enterprising Barbie Imperial in “Taiwan That You Love.”
iWant users can expect two documentary series—“TNT Boys: Journey to the World Stage” and “The Last Manilaners: A Quezon’s Game Documentary.”
