Christmas is always a great time to give thanks – it’s a good time to remember all the blessings, miracles, people, and experiences that have made a difference in our lives. In many ways, a Christmas list is also a thanksgiving list because it shows us just how much we have been blessed.

This year, we at the Lopez Group are happy to see our Christmas list growing longer, as it shows how much we truly have to be grateful for. There are many positive developments despite a most challenging year. Lopez Holdings held a successful tender offer, greatly reducing its debt obligations. First Holdings’ power sector continued to be stable on the strength of the gas plants, despite continuing investments to increase capacity in other plants. ABS-CBN remained competitive in primetime and on a nationwide basis, even as it supported signature CSR projects like the 2011 Run for the Pasig River and the ever reliable Sagip Kapamilya which mobilized an army of volunteers to help disaster victims throughout the year.

These and more have given us plenty of reasons to celebrate, and as we gather ‘round the table, we celebrate you, our valued Kapamilya, who have selflessly given of yourself this year. Through your collective efforts, we have lived out our vision to do and give our very best for our country.
