Manager

Mael is a business management, operations, human resources and administration professional who was based in New York for 26 years. He has work experience in both for-profit and nonprofit environments. Mael loves traveling and has traveled extensively in the US, Europe and Asia. Prior to returning to the Philippines in 2014, he was the North America representative and brand manager of the Travel Warehouse Inc. boutique travel agency in Manila.

Angelo Trias
Project manager

Gelo joined G • Eco Tours in February 2014 and was mainly responsible for providing project management support and building the tools and technology needed by the group. Before G • Eco Tours, he was with IBM for seven years. Gelo is currently preparing for the next phase of his life—pursuing graduate studies in Australia as an AusAid scholar.

Juancho Misa

Tourism development consultant

Juancho graduated with an interdisciplinary degree in psychology and communication from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2014. In the course of his degree, he was sent to the University of Newcastle, Australia to study marketing and global poverty and development. Juancho dreams of attaining a master’s degree in environmental and wildlife conservation and to lead conservation efforts all around the world.

Tourism development consultant

A veterinarian, Kitsie is passionate about sustainable tourism, marine conservation and travel photography. Before joining G • Eco Tours, she was the environmental officer of Pangulasian Island, El Nido Resorts in Palawan. Kitsie obtained her veterinary degree from UP Los Baños, and she has taken postgraduate courses in tropical ecology and conservation at James Cook University in Australia and a sustainable tourism for development course with the UNWTO-Themis Foundation and George Washington University.

Celina-Therese Rotea
Tourism development consultant

Celina is a recent graduate of AB Political Science, minor in Development Management, from Ateneo de Manila University. She enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures. She is also an avid foodie.
