Lopez Group hauls twelve Anvil awardsABS-CBN Corporation and Energy Development Corporation (EDC) led awardees of the Lopez Group at the 47thAnvil Awards of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), with four and five trophies, respectively.

ABS-CBN Corporation bagged recognitions for its online TV series, an education and health advocacy via mobile trucks, innovations undertaken for a radio-cable TV channel, and an awards program honoring the best in Filipino music.

The Imortal Online project initiated by ABS-CBN Digital Brand Management won for its achievement in engaging fans of the TV series “Imortal.” DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 won for the Teaching, Learning, Caring classroom and clinic on wheels, while DZMM TeleRadyo was cited for its achievements in expanding its viewership, creating innovative approaches for its advertisers that led to higher ad revenues for the station, and increasing subscription revenues. FM radio counterpart Tambayan 101.9 also took home an Anvil for its annual Tambayan 101.9O PM Awards.

EDC won a total of four Awards of Excellence for its Values@Work annual and integrated sustainability report, 2011 wall and desk calendar “Our Pride, Our Heritage”; the Kananga-EDC Institute of Technology, a technical-vocational school that it established in Leyte; and BINHI, the landmark reforestation program that aims to bring back in abundance prime native species.

The EDC Sustainability Program, meanwhile, garnered an Award of Merit.

Meanwhile, First Gen Corporation, Lopez Group Foundation Inc. (LGFI) and Lopez Holdings Corporation (LPZ) each won one Anvil.

First Gen took home an Anvil Award of Excellence for its employee magazine Pulse in the PR Tools, Internal Publications category, while LPZ received an Anvil Award of Merit for LopezLink in the same category. LGFI won an Anvil Award of Excellence for its biannual publication Bridges in the PR Tools, Special Publications category.

It was the third Anvil for LopezLink, the monthly employee publication of the Lopez Group which started as a quarterly in 1999 and now has an online edition on www.lopezlink.ph. It had won an Anvil Award of Excellence in 2006 and an Anvil Award of Merit in 2008.
