LAA and Unsung Heroes Entries Submitted for Rigorous Screening Process

A total of thirty-seven (37) team nominations or entries for the 2014 Cycle Lopez Achievement Awards (LAA) have been submitted to the LAA Program Management Team. They will be subjected to a rigorous screening process based on the following criteria: Contribution to Business Results (30%); Exceptional Nature of the Achievement (30%); and Demonstration of Lopez Group Values (40%). They must also show achievements done within the year 2014.

Based on the six (6) categories, the nominations can be broken down as follows: Customer Focus, 8; Human Resource Focus, 2; Business Management, 6; Corporate Image-Building, 5; Public Responsibility, 8 and Operations Management, 8.

They can also be broken down based on the number of entry/entries submitted per company across the Lopez Group, as follows: ABS-CBN Corporation, 10; ABS-CBN Foundation, 1; Sky Cable, 5; First Philippine Holdings (FPH), 1; First Gen Corporation, 1; First Gas Power Corporation, 5; Energy Development Corporation,10; First Balfour, 1; First Philec, 1; and Adtel, Inc., 2.

On the other hand, nominations for The Unsung Hero Award have been submitted. They will be subjected to a rigorous screening process based on the following criteria: Exemplary Performance and Impact (25%); Exceptional Acts of Courage and Commitment (25%); Exceptional Qualities, Character and Attitude (25%); and Demonstration of the Lopez Values (25%). They must also show consistent, reliable and solid performance in the workplace through the years or over a period of 10 years or more.
