Zephanie Dimaranan was named the first “Search for the Idol Philippines” grand winner as she impressed both the judges and the public with her clear and powerful voice in the grand finals of the competition. She received a total combined judges’ score and public text votes of 100%, beating Lucas Garcia (70.2%) and Lance Busa (41.89%). Zephanie took home P2 million, a house and lot, a trip for four to Taiwan and a recording contract.
