Cedie Lopez Vargas with the ABS CBN participantsAround 400 Lopez Group employees and their dependents enjoyed another wellness stint during the sixth Walk the Talk (WTT) anniversary held at Palo Alto Leisure and Residential Estate, Baras, Rizal on September 8, 2012.

The early-morning drizzle did not dampen the spirits of the WTT participants as they traveled up Palo Alto. They walked around the main roads and climbed 249 steps to the basin of the natural waterfalls, which completed the approximately six-kilometer walk.

Thirty-four employees who attended all the walks in the past year went home with trophies and gift certificatesCedie Lopez Vargas with the perfect attendance awardees worth P4,000 each. The most dedicated walkers came from Asian Eye Institute (1), First Philippine Industrial Park (1), ABS-CBN (2), Lopez Group Foundation Inc. (3), Philec (3), First Philippine Holdings Corporation (6), Energy Development Corporation (7) and First Philippine Realty Corporation (11).

The top six companies that consistently sent the most number of delegates were ABS-CBN,Bayan, EDC, FPIP, FPRC and SKYcable Corporation.

Cedie Lopez Vargas, Lopez Group HR Council chairperson, in her inspirational message highlighted tAti-Atihan dancershe growing active participation of employees and their family members, as well as the unwavering support of the respective companies that they represent.

Everyone left the venue happy, especially those who won raffle prizes, including the grand prize—a 21-inch TV courtesy of Adtel Inc.
