About 700 Kapamilya joined journalists and personalities from ABS-CBN in ABS-CBN News’ “Race Your Voice” obstacle fun run for voters’ education held recently at the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City.
ABS-CBN head of Integrated News and Current Affairs Ging Reyes, together with Jorge Cariño, Chiara Zambrano, Jeff Canoy, Dyan Castillejo and Gus Abelgas, led the run where each stop tested participants’ knowledge about the elections.
Senior citizens, couples, families and barkada challenged each other in answering questions about things like the process of voting and rules on ballots while going through obstacles like hurdles, garter mazes and giant inflatable mountains and slides.
Commission on Election representatives were present to help answer voters’ questions, lead participants through a step-by-step voting guide and demonstrate how to cast a ballot on election day.
The attendees also made a collective pledge to raise their voices and exercise their right to vote in the national elections on May 13.
Aside from the obstacle fun run, runners and spectators were treated to free basic health services courtesy of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation Inc.
