During its regular meeting on Aug. 31, 2023, the board of directors of ABS-CBN Corporation approved the appointment of Ricardo Tan Jr. as the group financial officer of ABS-CBN. Tan has agreed to be reengaged by ABS-CBN so that he can continue to support the Group’s vision to become a storytelling company that is renowned locally and globally.

With this development, Vincent Paul Piedad has been designated as treasurer and head of investor relations and will report to the Group chief financial officer (CFO). Piedad’s designation is concurrent to his position as CFO of Sky Cable.

Meanwhile, the board of directors of First Philippine Holdings Corporation (FPH) approved the appointments of assistant compliance officer Rachel Hernandez as compliance officer and Lianne Bacorro as assistant compliance officer of the company. This followed the resignation of Victor Emmanuel Santos Jr. as compliance officer effective Sept. 7, 2023 to focus on his other duties and responsibilities for the FPH Group. Santos continues to act as executive vice president of FPH.
