Lopez brothers, Oscar and Manuel, observed on September 26 the 25th death anniversary of their youngest brother, Roberto (Roby), with a mass officiated by Msgr. Manny Gabriel. This was followed by a tribute from Roby’s cousins, nephews, nieces, Ateneo grade school and high school classmates, childhood friends and associates on the art scene. The event was held at One Rockwell.
TheThe tribute consisted of a video featuring vivid recollections of Roby by those whose lives he touched as well as the brief story of his life. Roby was one of the founders of Phil-Asia Assistance Foundation Inc. or PAAFI. As an art aficionado, the Lopez Museum and Library’s conservation laboratory is named after him.
