January to June 2018 Financial Results UNADITED CONSOLIDATEDThe sterling performance of First Gen Corporation for the first half of 2018 led all publicly listed companies of the Lopez Group, with its positive impact felt all the way to Lopez Holdings Corporation, which controls First Gen parent First Philippine Holdings Corporation. First Gen benefited from the contribution of the San Gabriel and Avion power plants, which saw higher sales volume and better spot prices.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN Corporation had a challenging first six months with fewer ad placements during the period, and lower consumer sales owing to lower theatrical receipts from ABS-CBN Global and ABSCBN Films as well as lower revenue from SKY Cable’s cable business. (CPS)
