Comparative Profits LowerFirst Philippine Holdings Corporation posted higher revenues for the first nine months of the year, driven by stronger electricity sales from First Gen’s natural gas plants. The natural gas platform of First Gen accounted for $140 million in recurring earnings during the period. Meanwhile, ABS-CBN Corporation continued to face the challenge of an industry-wide decline in advertising sales.
