More families nationwide are experiencing top-rated entertainment and lifestyle content and news on SKY as its direct-to-home pay TV service, SKYdirect, reached more than 1 million subscribers this February.
SKYdirect, which offers affordable prepaid and postpaid plans, has enabled households nationwide, especially those in remote areas, to access quality content since its launch in May 2016.
“This achievement signifies that SKYdirect is enriching lives of Filipino families who want nothing but the best TV viewing experience for their loved ones at home. SKYdirect will continue to strive to offer topnotch services with a touch of ‘Wow at Saya’ to further enrich the lives of more Filipinos nationwide,” said Claudia Suarez, head of SKY’s consumer products group.
Meanwhile, SKY president and chief operating officer March Ventosa said that the milestone would not have been possible without the support of SKY Kapamilya and partner dealers and distributors.

In three years, SKYdirect subscribers have enjoyed the benefits of the service including pay-per-view offerings, free upgrades to its highest plan, à la carte channels via SKYdirect Select, channel promos and more.
