ABS-CBN TVplus and Gate Distribution Enterprise Inc. have officially signed a partnership.
KBO viewers now have the added convenience of subscribing to weekly movie offerings using the CLiQQ kiosks in 7-Eleven stores nationwide as“This partnership gives subscribers more payment options because now they can purchase KBO using cash,” said Adrianne Reyes-Ismael, TVplus product manager.
To purchase KBO via CLiQQ, subscribers can head to the nearest 7-Eleven store and do these simple steps: on the CLiQQ kiosk, press LOAD, choose KBO and click KBO30, enter “airing date” (space) “TVplus Box ID.” After reviewing and confirming the details, get the CLiQQ order slip and pay at the counter.
7-Eleven loyalty and services manager Sydney Lau said that 7-Eleven won’t be charging an add-on or service fee on top of the price of KBO.
KBO access can be immediately activated after payment through 7-Eleven for as long as the subscriber’s TVplus box is tuned in to KBO channel during the time of activation.
Adding to this new payment convenience is the availability of the service in 2,700 CLiQQ kiosks. Gate distribution general manager Trisha Pascual said this could grow even further because “after some period we can extend it to more than 12,000 partners of ECPay and Gate.” (Story/Photos by: Kane Choa)
