T1 Rentals, First Balfour’s plant and equipment division, held its first heavy equipment online auction on August 25 to September 10, 2020. With its success, the division will roll out its second batch of equipment for auction from October 29 to November 13, 2020. Online viewing of the second batch will be again through the “Used Equipment” page of the T1 Rentals website.
For those who will still opt for the on-site auction where one can personally view the equipment up for bidding, they may set an appointment from November 3-13, 2020 only. Walk-ins will be strictly not allowed to ensure that physical distancing and health protocols are implemented for everyone’s safety.
“This will be the second time in the year we will be conducting our equipment auction online, which is primarily because of our concern for the safety of our bidders and employees during this pandemic,” said T1 Rentals head of marketing Kevin B u e n a s e d a . “While we very much welcome on-site appointments to view the equipment, we highly encourage all our bidders to check out the equipment to be posted on our website and take advantage of the convenience of viewing the lots online and sending out bids from the comfort and safety of your own home or office.”
Its diverse portfolio of wellmaintained equipment from the world’s leading brands and manufacturers and its wide range of equipment solutions have enabled T1 Rentals to grow its business since its launch in 2019.
By the end of the year, T1 Rentals is set to acquire and purchase additional equipment to meet the increasing demand while also disposing of surplus equipment to accommodate its yearly re-fleeting program.
