In December 2021, First Philippine Industrial Park (FPIP) formally opened Consuelo Park, a four-hectare nature park, a green oasis at the center of the 600-hectare industrial estate.
Inspired by Connie Rufino Lopez, this nature sanctuary is a testament to the nurturing demeanor of the Lopez family’s late matriarch towards her own family and the environment. Consuelo Park—along with Consuelo Park Residences and Consuelo Park Pavilion, launched shortly after the launch of the park—represents FPIP’s goal to create a dynamic community that fosters the wellbeing, growth and development of the FPIP locator employees and public visitors through nature therapy, events and secured living.
Consuelo Park
Consuelo Park is a charming recreational linear park thoughtfully laid out with abundant foliage that has become a nature escape for locator employees and visitors who seek rest and recreation.
It boasts a 1.2-kilometer natural trail, a 700-square meter outdoor amphitheater, a stunning koi pond and unique spots where visitors can savor the park’s natural beauty. But more than that, the lush greenery serves as a picturesque backdrop for recreational activities, family and corporate events, and photoshoots that have now become a whimsical experience for park visitors.
Consuelo Park Pavilion
Adjacent to Consuelo Park is Consuelo Park Pavilion, FPIP’s newly erected 1,400-square meter tent built to host largescale events.
Consuelo Park Residences
A one-minute walk away from Consuelo Park and the Pavilion is FPIP’s first dormitory facility, Consuelo Park Residences, built to solidify its commitment to providing convenient and secure living arrangements for FPIP locator employees.
With the completion of its second phase in April 2023, Consuelo Park Residences now offers more rooms and amenities. The dormitory is equipped with a common facility, pocket gardens, common pantry, common laundry area, bicycle parking racks, 24/7 security cameras and Wi-Fi access, ensuring utmost convenience and safety for all residents.
Other facilities
A quick five-minute drive away from Consuelo Park lies a variety of establishments from banks to government offices, and a range of restaurants, such as JongRo Korean restaurant, Minori-Tei Japanese restaurant, Millie’s All-Day Dining and Biker’s Ground Cafe. In addition, hotels such as Microtel by Wyndham and SanTomas Suites are available nearby, ready for leisure and business stays.
With its growing variety of commercial and recreational facilities, FPIP continues its transformation from an industrial park into a vibrant jobcentered community.
Consuelo Park is open to the public for free from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
