First Philippine Holdings Corporation (FPH) recently received a plaque of recognition for supporting the Philippines’ hosting of the AsiaPacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR).

The Philippine government, with the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, cohosted the international gathering held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay from Oct. 14- 18, 2024.

FPH chairman and CEO Federico R. Lopez received the citation during a thanksgiving luncheon hosted by Department of National Defense (DND) Sec. Gilberto Teodoro Jr. and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Sec. Toni Yulo-Loyzaga on Jan. 30, 2025.

Aside from the other private sector sponsors, also in attendance were DND Senior Usec. Irineo Espino, Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies cochairman Alexander Pama and other government officials.
