Merlito GepteEugenio Lopez Center (ELC) on May 25 launched “Coup de Maitre,” an art exhibit featuring the works of nine artists based in Rizal and neighboring areas.

ELC partnered with Philippines and Beyond led by creative director Fritz Silorio to mount the exhibit, which features Silorio, Jun Tiongco, Menchu Arandilla, Ram Mallari Jr., Jun Impas, Merlito Gepte, Buds Convocar, Otto Neri and Ayra Sayat. The artists’ works will be on display until June 16.

ELC aims to regularly showcase the works of local artists in exhibits lasting three weeks each. The activity is seen to serve as “art tourism” for Antipolo and inspire students to visit and be exposed to Philippine art.

ELC is located along Sumulong Highway in Antipolo.
